Redwood Coast Mountain Bike Association

Redwood Coast Mountain Bike Association (RCMBA) is a chapter club of the North West Regional Division of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), and is dedicated to promoting cycling and building and maintaining sustainable trails in the Northern California region. RCMBA is composed of a diverse group of riders including road cyclists, touring cyclists, mountain bikers, and commuters.  RCMBA works with local land managers and the community to maintain and increase access for mountain biking in the region. You can see a list of our partners here. Through cycling, the club hopes to promote opportunities for an active and healthy community.

Help grow mountain biking in the Humboldt area and Join Today

Win this Specialized bike! The Blue Lake trails are turning one year old and with that comes the next phase and a cause for celebration. Celebration of all your hard work, dedication, progression, and more trails. The trails have already made an impact with a boost in memberships and numerous riders from out of the area traveling to Humboldt County to see what we have built. Thirty employees from Specialized visited in November for a team building trip to ride Blue Lake and enjoy the area. As a nod to our club and the trails we have built together thus far, Specialized has donated a 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper Carbon Comp to raffle off! The bike is a medium sized frame with 150mm of travel on 27.5 wheels propelled by a 12-speed drive train. This is arguably their flagship bike that does it all. We will be raffling off their generous donation at the January 10th gathering at the Arcata Theater Lounge. Tickets are on sale at local bike shops beginning Friday December 21st with online sales soon. For full bike specs, please visit the Specialized website. The proceeds from this raffle are going right back into the trails at Blue Lake, and will pay for the equipment needed for a machine built climbing trail. This would not have been possible without all your hard work. Let’s do that again this year. A huge THANK YOU goes out to all the folks at Specialized who made this happen!
