Updates:
September 11, 2025 - The packet pickup sheets are being printed. If you request a group/category change after 19:30, it won’t be reflected on the sheet volunteers will have. All change requests will be confirmed by email. Thank you.
September 10, 2025 - Final Race Packages have been uploaded. Links to the results have been added. Results will be posted after stage has been completed and the equipment collected.
September 6, 2025 - Race Packages have been uploaded. Please read through them carefully. Although changes are not expected, changes may occur and will be noted here.
September 1, 2025 - Spectator Maps uploaded. They are georeferenced and can be used on your phone with an app like Avenza. In addition to spectators, we recommend that racers who are not familiar with the trails use it to help navigate the course.
August 30, 2025 - Maps released. Stage 5A includes a new trail called No Quarter. The trail is closed until practice begins on September 12th at 1PM. Anyone caught riding the trail will be disqualified from the event. Walking the trail is encouraged.
August 25, 2025 - Refund window has closed. Free transfers will be allowed until September 7th September 6th, if you have someone to transfer your entry to. Additional invitation from the waitlists are unlikely as we are slightly over our upper limit for race day. Category and Group changes will be permitted until 6PM on September 12th. All Category and Group changes must be made by sending an email to info@redwoodcoastmtb.org. No other method will be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
July 16th - A round of invitations went to racers on the waitlists for both groups. There were approximately 44 and 21 people on Group A and Group B’s waitlist, respectively. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate all of the racers on the waitlists. The invitations that were sent will expire in a week (6/23). We will invite others based on the response of those sent today.
We always get racers who need to cancel their registration as we get closer to the event. We will continue to use the waitlist to help facilitate transfers.June 17th - Age groups have been created for the Expert and Sport classes. Check the confirmation list to make sure you were placed in the correct age group for your category. No other categories will be divided into age groups.
June 3rd - Group A registrations filled a couple days ago and the waitlist is growing. We are evaluating the impacts of increasing the total number of Group A racers. We believe there is an upper bound for this race format where increasing the total number of racers above this bound reduces the overall experience for all racers. We will make a decision soon so that people can plan appropriately. Thank you for your patience.
June 3rd - Group B has not filled as quickly as expected and so in an attempt to increase Group A registrations, we are going to reduce the total number Group B racers to 50.
